Give Me Some Lip & Liner- Sephora Favorites Value Set

I am pretty sure you don't want me to go on and on about how much I love these sets from Sephora, as my last post pretty much summed it all up.  I'll just get right into sharing this lip themed set full of liners, glosses, and lipsticks.

Give Me Some Lip and Liner $60 ($185 value)
Here's whats included:

Laura Mercier- Lip pencil in Naked
Benefit- they're real! double the lip in fuchsia fever
Buxom- Full-on Lip Cream in Kir Royale
Ciate London- Liquid Velvet in VooDoo
Estes Edit- Lip Flip Shade Transformer in 02 Turn Down
Know Cosmetics- No Bleeding Lips Secret Lip Liner
Make Up For Ever- Artist Rouge M-401 MAT
Marc Jacobs Beauty- Enamored Hi Shine Lip Lacquer in Pretty Thing
Nars- Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella
Smashbox-  Always Sharp Lip Liner in Crimson
Stila- Stay all day Liquid Lipstick in Beso
Tarte- Tarteist Lip Crayon in Mood Ring
Too Faced- Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear
Lipstick in Sell Out
Yves Saint Laurent- Rouge Pur Couture in No. 70 Le Nu
There are four full size products in this kit.  So, far I have only tried a couple and am loving the variety of colors and formulas.  I was very pleasantly surprised with the Too Faced Melted Matte in Sell Out, as it stayed put through a busy work day only needing to reapply after lunch.

Overall, this to me is a no brainer.  You can try different colors and formulas without the commitment of buying a full size and not liking it.  I also love minis because they're perfect for on the go in a purse or pocket for touch ups.  Stay tuned for the Sephora Favorites Lashstash.

Must Have Sephora Favorites- Extravagant Eyes

What's not to like about a Sephora Favorites set?  They're limited edition, packed with sample and full size best selling products priced affordably. They always offer a variety of top brands and formulas within each set's theme. I get so pumped to see all the new sets that come out around the holidays and this year I picked up three sets so far, with my first being...
Extravagant Eyes $42 US- $134 US Value

Here's what's included:
Huda Beauty Lashes- Samantha #7
Laura Mercier- Caviar Stick Eye Color in Plum Shade
Marc Jacobs Beauty- O!Mega Lash Volumizing
Mascara in Blacquer
Milk Makeup- Eye Pigment in Silent Disco
Nars- Dual Intensity Eye Shadow in Himalia
Sephora Collection- Waterproof Contour Eye Pencil 12hr
Wear in Black Lace
Smash box Cosmetics- 24 hr Photo Finish Shadow Primer
Urban Decay- Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Midnight Cowboy

My favorite of this set is the Laura Mercier Caviar stick.  It's a beautiful deep plum, extremely pigmented, long wearing product.   I've used it as a liner, shadow and even once on my lips.  It's a full sized product and retails alone at $29 US.

Here's an eye look I created using each product in the set:

My least favorite item was hands down the Milk Makeup eye pigment.  Once dry, I feel it flakes up and clumps. It doesn't blend well, but maybe I have to play with it a bit more to get the hang of it?

Overall, this is a great set especially for us green eyed babes as the two plum colored products will make your eyes POP!  Check back for a peek at my personal favorite each year, the Sephora Favorites Lashstash!

October Ipsy Glam

Sunday fun day is turning out to be more of a Sunday cleaning day, so I am taking a break to share this month's Ipsy bag.  Yes, I am still an Ipsy member!  I still love my monthly mystery bag of makeup goodies and still feel it's worth every penny of the $10 I spend once a month.
This month's theme is Black Magic in celebration of Halloween.
Here's what was inside my bag:

pur: Dirty Girl Detoxifying Mud Mask  0.5oz

the Balm: CabanaBoy shadow/blush0.02oz

treStique: Mini Matte Lip Crayon in Belize Bordeaux .02oz

Ciate London: Fierce Flicks Black Eyeliner (full size)

Adesse: Organic Infused Nail Lacquer- Liquid Chrome in Grand Central

And the Star of the show......

I am over the moon about the Ciate eyeliner!! It has a pointed felt tip applicator which is my favorite for liners because it makes application so precise.  This goes on silky smooth, with the right amount of sheen and amazing hold.  Once it's dry, this stuff stays put.  Everything you want in a liner and perfect for a cat eye look.  This full size product paid for the whole bag.

Overall, nice selection.  The polish is pretty and I love the Balm products so it's a nice way to try this blush/shadow, which is one of their most popular shades.  The mask will also be nice to try!  Not sure I am crazy about the lip shade but it might grow on me :)

Thanks for reading! You can check out Ipsy here.
