June Ipsy Glam Bag

It's been a while blogger!  I am back in the saddle after a little blogging hiatus, and I apologize for not at least getting my blog hops up :(  I've been very busy trying to get my husband's website, FB page, and branding in order for his construction business, that I've neglected my own things.  It's a ton of work, especially since I used  Wordpress and had no clue how to navigate it.  Anyway, I am back to blogging and hopping, and hope you can understand my brief disappearance.  Thank you!

On to the fun stuff… I wanted to share my Ipsy bag this month since it was such a goody! I cancelled my Sample Society so will only be getting Ipsy until I decide if I want to try another.         Here's what June's "Pretty in Paradise" Ipsy bag had in store for me….

Marc Anthony- Dream Waves Beach Spray
This smells like a coconutty, beachy dream if there was such a thing!  It doesn't leave my hair crunchy or sticky, and gave the perfect amount of texture and volume.  Love this, and it fits perfectly in a purse or beach bag :)

Laneige- BB Cushion
This looks intriguing! I will update as soon as I try this, but here's the low down- it's available only at Target, it has 5 in 1- brightening, protecting, moisturizing, anti-shine, and long wear capabilities.  It came with light, med, and dark shades to try on everyone, and a bonus BB cushion. You use the antimicrobial BB cushion to apply the cream evenly and neatly.  Looks like good stuff!

Nicka K- Shimmer Eyeliner-Green
Ok, so yes, it's green.  Not an everyday liner, but it is a very gorgeous metallic green that is  trendy, and fun for just a hint of color on a bare bronzed face.  It's goes on smooth and it's easy to apply which is a bonus.  Let me point out, this stuff doesn't budge after it dries which means it's pool friendly.  It's fun, pretty, and a surprising favorite in the bag.

MDSolarSciences- Mineral Tinted Cream
I haven't tried this yet because I have PLENTY of sunscreens to get through, but I'll update when I get to using this.

NYX- Butter Gloss-Apple Strudel
My favorite item in the bag!  I am already a big NYX fan and a huge fan of their glosses.  It's my first time trying their butter gloss and I find it a bit more sheer than their lip creams, but I loved that about it.  It's a perfect pink color, it's not sticky but still lasts decently for a gloss.  Perfect amount of sheen on the lip for summer.  There is no taste or scent which I also like.
Rebecca Minkoff- Makeup Bag
I think this is the first designer cosmetic bag that Ipsy has sent out, and it's a really fun tropical pineapple print made by designer Rebecca Minkoff.

Overall, very happy with my June "Pretty in Paradise" Ipsy glam bag!  I can't stop smelling my hair, which might get weird but maybe my new green peepers will cause a diversion.

See you this weekend for my Blog Hop revival :)
