Make Green Eyes Glow

Meet Tiffiany…
She's incredible gorgeous!  She has skin that is flawless and these incredible electric green eyes that I really wanted to make POP!

When creating this look, we went for a glam, vintage, movie star feel.  Take a look at what we used for Tiffiany's look...

I typically start with the eyes when applying makeup so any fallout from shadow is easily cleaned up without ruining concealor or foundation. Here's what I used on Tiffiany's eyes in order of application….

Eyes
  1. Urban Decay Primer Potion all over lids.
  2. Swept Urban Decay shadow in Buck (from the Naked palette just in the crease to help with blending
  3. Packed MAC Brown Script shadow(warm matte chestnut brown) from lash line to crease
  4. Swept a terra cotta colored shadow from the BH Cosmetics 120 Color Palette 5th edition, in the crease and continued with sweeping window wiper motions to blend
  5. Just below the brow I applied MAC Nylon shadow (pale gold frost with icy shimmer) to highlight and create a lift to the brow
  6. I then applied Kat Von D Tatoo liner in Tropper(black) to the lash line and winged it slightly upward for a little cat eye effect
  7. Her brows were the filled with MAC Brow Pencil in Brunette. It has a little brush on the end that I always use after filling to soften the look. I just brush the brows upward after filling.
  8. I then applied Ardell Demi Lashes #101 with Black duo lash glue, and went back over the eye liner to touch it up
  9. Lastly, I finished with a coat of Maybelline Volume Express Falsies Mascara(black) to blend the falsies with her natural lashes

Tiffiany's complexion is pretty flawless so I didn't  do too much more than a little contouring and highlighting.  Here's what we used on her face in order of application..

Face

  1. I started with the under eye and applied Pixi Correction Concentrate in Brightening Peach with a concealer brush ( no pick shown sorry)
  2. I then applied Benefit Hoola Bronzer along her hairline, temples, under her cheekbone, along her jawline, and on her neck to create some contours
  3. I gave her soft blush using Bare Minerals All Over Face Color in Glee to the applies of her cheeks.
  4. I stippled a very small amount of MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation NC25 to her nose and chin to cover a bit of redness.
  5. I added Benefit High Beam highlighter to her forehead, cheek bones, cupids bow, and chin
  6. Topped that with Wet'nWild Fergie Pink Champagne to give a glow
Lastly, for her lips I used Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti.

My favorite thing about this look is that her gorgeous green eyes become quite electric with the MAC Script and the terra cotta shadow.  The color opposite green on the color wheel is red so any shades with red undertones: rusts, terra cotta's, etc. with make green eyes really pop!

It was a pleasure doing her makeup! Isn't she beautiful!
