Lulus.com Review and Two of their Dresses, Two Ways

If you're anything like me, you're itching for warm weather, flip-flops, swimming pools,  bronze skin, and most of all sporting around breezy summer dresses.  One of my top favorite online boutiques for shopping and trend spotting is Lulus.com .   They have such a diverse selection of clothing that any woman, with any style from sexy kitten, to rocker chic, to second grade teacher will find something they love here.
I live in dresses in the summer time.  I have begun building my stockpile, so come summer time I'll be ready to sport some new looks.   I chose two color block dresses from Lulus.com, as per their awesome request for a review.  So thanks to Lulu's I bring you two cute color block dresses, styled two different ways each.  Hope you enjoy :)

To me, this dress has more of a mint color on the top, and I love that!  It's right on trend.  This Dress is so lightweight and airy, making it perfect for warm weather.  It's made from 100% Polyester and must be hand washed and hang dried.  It retails at $37.50, and it's a steal knowing how versatile it can be.  On the downside, depending on your body, it may require a control garment because the fabric is so thin making any imperfections easier to see.  Let's be real here, no one's body is perfect and you should have no shame in throwing on some Spanx if neccessary :)  On the plus side to that note, it's not skin tight so that makes it a bit more forgiving.
This dress is my favorite of the two because I can see myself wearing it plenty in the summer for any occasion. I love the color contrast from the top and bottom half and the back of this dress is such an eye catcher:

Thanks to their detailed size chart, I pulled out my trusty measuring tape and the mediums I chose fit perfectly.  Here are the two looks I've created for the Danielle's Diner Taupe and teal dress :

Look One- Trendy
Shoes:  Wet Seal
Tights: Modern Vintage
Dress: LuLus.com, Danielle's Diner- (sz Med)
Belt: Forever 21
Cuff: Express

Look Two- Summer Breeze
Belt:  Target
Bracelets: Forever 21
Dress: LuLus.com, Danielle's Diner- (sz Med)

I chose this dress because I thought it would take me out of my color comfort zone.  It's definitely a bold color block dress with purple and orange.  The Forbidden Fruit dress has a tight fitting, pencil skirt type bottom half, so again, a control garment may be in order. Thankfully, it is lined so that helps. It has almost a vintage feel to the pattern.  Very pin-up sexy.  It's made of polyester and spandex.  .  Still needs hand wash and hang dry, and retails at $54.00.  It has a lovely criss cross back that's just as unique and pretty as the first dress, check it out:

Here's the two looks that I've created with this dress.  Again, I ordered the medium size according to their size chart and it fits like a glove.  This dress was my fiance's favorite :)

Look One- Casual Chic

Jacket: H&M
Boots: Wanted Riding Boots

Look Two- Bombshell

Leggings: TJ Maxx
Heels:  Forever 21

I hope you enjoyed my two looks, for two Lulus.com dresses.  I am sure there are countless more ways to style these dresses and I can wait to create them.  I am very satisfied with the quality of my items and will be purchasing items from Lulu's in the future.  Just for being my awesome readers, Lulu's is offering a discount code for your purchases, so go ahead and start your summer stockpile.
