Bed Head- Totally Baked Hair Meringue Review

A candy inspired hair care line?  They're getting us where it hurts ladies, our sweet tooth.  No it's not edible, darn it, but TIGI's Bed Head Candy Fixations line is a sweet treat for your hair.
Totally Baked is a hair prep product that is applied to damp hair (70-80% dry, don't forget!), from mid-length to ends, and blow dried through to activate.  It's product claim is added:

Texture
Humidity Resistant Hold
Volume

When I first tried Totally Baked I wasn't really expecting the awesome result I achieved. I bought it out of curiousity since it is candy inspired, has a catchy name, and I like some Bed Head products so I decided to give it a chance.   It comes out like a foam.  The initial smell is a bit jarring, a lemon meringue scent.  The scent is strong at first, but definitely becomes less over powering after styling.
I have long, fine, straight, color treated hair that tends to be flat.  I seek volume and texture in my hair products but never have too much luck.  I do find products I like, but I can whole heartedly say that after my first application of this product, then blow dry, my hair felt amazing!  It felt soft, fuller, and bouncy.  I don't really get that much of an effect from the prep products I've used in the past, but I guess I've just been using the wrong ones. That first day of use I got a ton of complements!  One month later, I still love the same results I am getting!
If you're seeking some bounce, volume, and life back in your hair, pick this up!  It can be found in salon's, and online, and retails around $9-$22.  It's packaged in a plastic bottle with a foam spout dispenser, so be sure to recycle when it's empty :)  Start giving your locks a little thank you treat with Bed Head's Totally Baked Volumizing & Prepping Hair Meringue .

  4. I had been using the Got2B Volumizing mousse, and it works okay. I actually just ran out of it, so this review couldn't have come at a better time. I'll definitely pick this up!
