Break out the Bulbs, it's December

I have been patiently waiting for December since my sister told me she was doing her Christmas decorating two weeks before Thanksgiving.  It's a self employed tradition for me to practice patience, and wait until December to decorate our home.  Two reasons,

  1. I don't want Thanksgiving to fall by the wayside, it's bad enough retailers don't let us forget that Christmas is on its way, starting in October
  2. It's something to look forward to.
It feels more "holiday-ish" to me when December finally hits.  Especially this year because we haven't had any crazy snow falls yet in NE Ohio.  Keep in mind, I am the nerd who listens to the 24 hour Christmas music channels in my car as soon as they start the seasonal run.  Maybe the music helps tide me over.  Anyway, I resist the urge to break out the bulbs and wait.
Im not knocking you early decorators.  I may even offer to help.  I love that warmth holiday decorating gives a home, and how fun and special it is.  I just personally like to wait and look forward to when December comes to get my yuletide on.  So, this weekend it's operation deck the halls around our house, and I am so Excited !!!!
As you can see, I started by decorating my blog.  Then came my snow flake nails thanks to Bundle Monster, China Glaze, and Sally Hansen:

My house will have to wait until this weekend :(  I'll be ready....

I'm hoping for snow this year, especially on Christmas!

I really love your nails. The snowflakes match your blog! :)
